Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Contracts

1. Scope of Application

These terms and conditions apply to contracts for accommodation and related agreements entered into between the guest and this hotel. Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations, and/or generally accepted practices.

2. Application for Accommodation Contract

The guest shall provide the following information when applying:

  • Name of guest(s)
  • Dates of stay and estimated time of arrival
  • Accommodation charges
  • Other necessary information as required by the hotel

3. Conclusion and Deposit

A contract is considered concluded when the hotel accepts the application. Guests may be required to pay a deposit. If not paid by the specified date, the contract may be considered invalid.

4. Special Contracts

The hotel may enter into special contracts not requiring a deposit. Such contracts take precedence over standard conditions if they do not violate laws or accepted practices.

5. Guest's Right to Cancel

Guests may cancel their booking by notifying the hotel. If canceled due to the guest's reasons, cancellation charges may apply as per the table below.

* The percentage is applied to the basic accommodation charges.
* In case of reduced stay, the first night will still be charged.

7. Hotel’s Right to Cancel

The hotel may cancel a booking in cases such as illness, illegal behavior, inability to pay, or natural disaster.

8. Registration

Guests must register the following at check-in:

  • Name, age, sex, address, and occupation
  • For foreigners: nationality, passport number, entry port/date
  • Departure date/time

9. Room Use and Hours

Guests may occupy rooms from 18:00 to 10:00 of the next day. Extensions may be charged as follows:

  • Until 11:30 — 30% of room charge
  • Until 13:30 — 50% of room charge
  • After 13:30 — 100% of room charge

10. Hotel Business Hours

  • Front desk: 18:00 – 22:00
  • Security Room: 24 hours
  • Restaurant "At Sushi Kanazawa":
    • Dinner: 18:00 – 22:00 (Last order 21:00)
    • Closed: Tuesdays, National holidays, and Founding Anniversary
    • We close on non-reservation days.

11. Payment

Charges must be paid at check-in by Japanese currency, recognized coupons, or credit card.

12. Breakdown of Charges

Accommodation Charges (1)
① Basic accommodation charges (room charge or room charge + breakfast charge if included)
② Service charge (① × 10%)
Additional Charges (2)
③ Food & beverage charges (excluding meals included in basic accommodation charges) and other miscellaneous charges
④ Service charge (③ × 10%)
Taxes (3)
⑤ Consumption tax

* In case of tax law changes, the updated rates shall apply.

13. Prohibited Conduct and Compensation

  • Smoking and use of fire within the guest room is strictly prohibited under the Fire Service Act.
  • In case of loss of the room key, the guest will be charged the cost of key replacement and compensation for any business loss during the replacement period.
  • Damage to equipment or guest rooms will incur repair costs and compensation for the business loss during the repair period.
  • Deliberate soiling or damage beyond normal cleaning standards will incur cleaning costs and compensation for the business loss during restoration.
  • Bringing pets or other living animals into the guest room is strictly prohibited.
